This isn’t just the music of a podcast — it’s part of its storytelling.

Composed by Maite Larburu, a renowned Basque composer and musician, the soundtrack of She Had My Name inhabits the same silences, the same kitchens, the same trains, and the same archives that the protagonists move through. Maite is from Hernani, the town next to Lasarte, and her perspective was essential in shaping the emotional tone of the series.

The main theme was composed together with Vega Montero.

Written and recorded specifically for the series, it’s part of the narrative process: it considers how to tell a story without overexplaining, how to support emotion without overstating it, how to breathe with the characters, when to pause, when to stay silent when there are no words — or how to turn that silence into a voice.

Some pieces were born from interviews, others from family archives, and others from the weight of fifty years of silence.
